ACV & GLP-1 Support
This section covers apple cider vinegar gummies and capsules, plus supplements marketed as GLP-1 support. You will find reviews, comparisons and explainers on what these products can and cannot do.
Supplements are not GLP-1 medicines, and we say so clearly when marketing blurs the line. We check the acetic acid or vinegar content per serving, the doses of ingredients such as berberine or fiber, the quality of the human evidence, and the refund and subscription terms.
If you take a prescription GLP-1 drug, insulin or other diabetes medication, talk to your doctor before adding any of these products. The same applies during pregnancy.
Is a GLP-1 support supplement the same as a GLP-1 medicine?
No. Prescription GLP-1 medicines such as semaglutide are drugs that the FDA has reviewed for safety and effectiveness. Supplements sold as GLP-1 support, including apple cider vinegar gummies and berberine blends, are not the same thing and have not gone through that review. Do not use them in place of a prescribed treatment. Ask your doctor about any change.
